Working for a Healthier NW OK
A Healthy Community is one key part of building a Thriving United Way! Everyone should be able to make healthy choices for themselves and their families, but there can be lots of barriers to overcome. United Way’s partnerships with local groups expand access to nutritious food and quality healthcare, education and services.
A couple of ways that we seek to meet this need in our community is through our partnership agencies: The Salvation Army of Northwest Oklahoma and Loaves and Fishes of Northwest Oklahoma.
If you know someone in need of shelter, please point them to the Salvation Army, where a free meal can be found 24/7, 365 days a year at 516 N. Independence in Enid, OK. Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged!
If you know someone facing food insecurity, please point them to Loaves at Fishes, located at 701 E. Maine, and reached by phone at 580-540-9830.
