United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma has recently partnered with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides and Services) to offer supporters a new and meaningful way to contribute to help the United Way fight for the health, education and financial stability of all in our region. “Donated vehicles drive forward our mission to engage others to help one another and help transform visions of compassion and giving into dynamic REALITY for individual families in need in Enid and NW Oklahoma, as well as protect the environment by properly removing unwanted vehicles from the road,” United Way CEO, Dan Schiedel stated.
“This new partnership with CARS offers donors an easy way to repurpose any unwanted vehicles. Donating a vehicle is easy, tax-deductible, and avoids the hassles of selling or the costs of repairing altogether. Vehicle donations strengthen the programs provided by United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma, which directly supports our 16 partner agencies and Coach a Kid mentoring program,” Schiedel added.
CARS guides donors throughout the entire donation process and provides a FREE and convenient pick-up. Many nonprofits across the U.S. rely greatly on their vehicle donation program as a stable source of funds. CARS is the largest nonprofit vehicle donation provider and a trusted partner to over 3,500 other nonprofits in North America. CARS also provides transportation independence to thousands of seniors in the San Diego, CA community by operating a free shuttle program called On the Go.
